Espen Gylvik has worked in the technology industry for over 20 years and most recently as the CEO at UMS, a Norwegian public warning technology provider with global coverage. Before his tenure at UMS he has held positions as Chief Operating Officer Norway and Regional Director Central & Eastern Europe for Microsoft and senior positions at Evry and TeliaSonera. He holds a Bachelor of Management and Finance and a Master’s degree in Psychology.
Karl Peter Gombrii was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Cyviz in November 2023. He brings a wealth of experience from senior financial and commercial roles in companies with a focus on Nordic and global growth including Norwegian Air Shuttle, Hurtigruten, and the private equity fund Norvestor. Gombrii joined us from Belfor Norway, where he served as the interim CFO.
Javier has worked in the technology space for more than 30 years. He was most recently the CEO of GOAL Systems, a Spanish software technology provider for the transportation industry. Before GOAL he has held several positions as CRO, Head of International and Head of EMEA in companies such as Everbridge, Intralinks, McAfee, Novell and SAP. In the last two years he has also been part of Cyviz Advisory Board. He holds a Master’s degree in Telecom Engineering and has completed Executive Business Administration programs at both IESE Business School and Harvard Business School.
Ellen joined Cyviz in September 2021 and is the global lead for Communication and Branding. She brings more than 20 years of international leadership experience in communication, branding, strategy, business culture and organizational development, mainly from the software industry. Previous experience includes Chief Marketing Officer at Microsoft, CMO and Head of Marketing Strategy & Brand in the Telenor company Canal Digital and global Product Marketing Lead at the CRM company SuperOffice. Ellen holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.
Gøran started as the Chief Technology Officer in November 2023. He is a seasoned technology leader with a passion for making technology-based products. Gøran has over two decades of software engineering experience and a solid track record in SaaS — including notable contributions to enterprise-focused products for Sticos and the popular Wordfeud word game. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.
John Harald Grønningen was appointed EVP for the European region at Cyviz in December 2024, joining the Executive Leadership Team. With extensive experience in sales, operations, and commercial leadership, John Harald has held key roles in global technology companies, including CEO at Resani and leadership positions at Pexip, REC Solar, and Tandberg. He brings a proven track record of driving growth and developing strategic partnerships. John Harald holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).
Anas Hawari was appointed EVP for the META and APAC regions at Cyviz in June 2024, joining the Executive Leadership team. With over 20 years of experience in sales, operations, and general management, Anas has been instrumental in driving growth and expanding market presence. Before this role, he served as Cyviz VP and General Manager for the Middle East until 2023. Anas holds a degree in Applied Engineering and Business Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University, USA.
Chris brings over 25 years of leadership experience in the technology sector, specializing in the sale and delivery of a wide range of infrastructure projects, technical solutions, and professional services to commercial, government, and defense clients. Before joining Cyviz in 2022, he served as Chief Services Officer, President, and Vice President of Operations and Strategic Accounts at 1Path, a prominent US-based technology services company. Chris is adept in strategic planning, process optimization, and business transformation. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication.
Rune Syversen is a co-founder of Karbon Invest AS, an investment company focusing on the IT-sector as a whole but also using technology to disrupt established business verticals with international potential. Mr. Syversen has held several senior positions within Telenor Group, Norway’s leading telecoms company. Mr. Syversen is a successful serial entrepreneur with deep experience in the global IT, data services, and the financial sectors, Mr. Syversen was instrumental in the creation and growth of, amongst other companies, Crayon Group, Link Mobility & Sikri, all listed at the Norwegian stock exchange. Mr. Syversen studied at the Norwegian School of Management.

Patrick Kartevoll is an Investment Director at Investinor. He is also currently serving as a board member of Topro Industri AS, Partner Plast AS and as a chairman of Zi-Lift AS. Prior to joining Investinor in 2017, Patrick worked as fund manager for maritime funds in Pareto and has experience as business manager and an auditor in Pareto and Deloitte, respectively. Patrick holds a Master of Business and Economics from the Norwegian Business School in Oslo (BI).
Asta Stenhagen joined Cyviz board of directors from [May] 2023. She has over two decades of legal, finance, and operational experience from her roles at Morrow Batteries, Tietoevry, Wilh. Wilhelmsen Group, and lawfirm Thommessen, as well as numerous board positions in listed and private companies.
Asta has served amongst as the General Counsel in Morrow Batteries ASA, Head of Legal, Security and Compliance at Tietoevry Corp., Executive Vice President of Legal and Risk at EVRY ASA, and Legal Counsel at Wilh. Wilhelmsen Holding ASA.
Asta holds a Cand. Jur (Master of Law) Degree from the University of Oslo (UiO), including legal subject matters from University of Århus (Denmark) and project management from UiO.
Ingeborg Hegstad has 20 years of experience from management consulting, including Associate Partner in McKinsey & Company and Management Consultant at Egon Zehnder, serving the retail, telecom and IT sectors. Since 2015 Hegstad has been a partner in Imsight AS, offering strategy and leadership advisory to executives, teams and organizations. Throughout her career Hegstad has been leading international engagements in multiple countries in Europe and Asia. Hegstad holds a Master of Business Administration from Norwegian Business School BI. She has served on the Board of Directors Cxense ASA (2017-2019), Q-Free ASA (2018- onwards) and StrongPoint ASA (2020-onwards).
Nini Høegh Nergaard (born 1972) was a financial analyst at Handelsbanken Capital Markets from 1998 to 2005. She holds a law degree from the University of Oslo and has held various board positions in public and private companies, including KMC Properties ASA, Opak AS, Mamut ASA, and Norwegian Car Carriers ASA. Nini is considered an independent board member, is a Norwegian citizen, and resides in Oslo.
