Creating a new operations control centre, equipped with Cyviz technology.
DNV – Maritime wanted to find more efficient ways to manage fleets currently in service and prepare operations for a more interconnected and digital world. Part of this involved the creation of a new operations control center in Hamburg that was equipped with Cyviz technology to improve collaboration, communication, and client services.
DNV wanted to further digitalize its operations with the creation of a new operations control center in Hamburg that would support remote vessel surveys and inspections. Increasing team efficiency, availability, and safety.
Cyviz provided DNV with a new operations center that acts as the central point for all critical information. This includes live streams from vessels and detailed imagery of components or damage, which enhances situational awareness and team collaboration. This solution not only delivers a high-quality service to customers but also enables DNV to conduct more remote surveys, increasing surveyor efficiency and availability while also improving safety.
DNV’s new operations center has significantly enhanced its ability to support customers and manage its global fleet. By centralizing critical information and live streams from vessels, the Cyviz solution improves situational awareness and collaboration among support teams, which has led to a lower time-to-resolution for issues. This new digital infrastructure has been crucial to supporting the growing demand for remote surveys, which now account for 35% of all survey requests. These remote services have increased surveyor efficiency and availability while reducing travel costs and improving safety.
With our high-end visualization and unified communication systems, Cyviz control rooms can be used for national intelligence, space programs and other special operations.
